After Six Incredible Years – A Heartfelt Farewell

After six incredible years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close up shop. This journey has been filled with meaningful experiences, unforgettable connections, and a deep sense of purpose — and I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of it.

To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering support from day one. Your encouragement helped build the foundation of this business. And to my loyal customers — thank you for allowing me the privilege to share fair trade and eco-friendly home goods with you. Your support meant the world to me and to the artisans behind every product.

While I’ll miss the conversations, the community, and the joy of connecting people with handmade, ethical goods, I won’t miss the 6 a.m. Saturdays, the long hours at the farmers market, or the constant juggling of international sourcing. Every piece I sold supported artisans around the world — not with charity, but by offering them a platform and a chance to thrive through their own hard work and creativity.

Unfortunately, shifting political climates and recently imposed tariffs have made it increasingly difficult to operate. Many of the countries I source from have seen prices double, making it unsustainable to continue without compromising the mission or values this business was built on.

I began this venture to carry on the legacy of my parents, Bill and Helen, who instilled in me the importance of giving back — both locally and globally. I hope they’re looking down with pride, knowing that I’ve done my best to honor their spirit. I believe they'd tell me it’s okay to move on — to rest, reflect, and prepare for whatever comes next.

I don’t know exactly what that next chapter will be, but I’m excited to find out.
